ABOUT ME

Born and grew up in Tuscany (Italy), I started my career as mechanical engineer at Piaggio Group S.p.A., working in the innovation department. At Piaggio I moved my first professional steps and I started to work on electric vehicles, having led with a small group of colleagues the development of the first hybrid scooter with Li-Ion batteries of the world. Some years later, it was 2008, this crazy idea became a series project and the scooter was launched on the market. In between, in 2005, I decided to move to Germany, the country which adopted me professionally. I spent in total 9 years at Ricardo Deutschland GmbH, the German legal entity of the British Group Ricardo plc, one of the most important engineering company in the world. At Ricardo I participated to a large number of very interesting research and customer projects, all of them projected to future technologies. Attracted by the new centre of world business, Asia, in 2014 I moved to Johnson Electric plc, an automotive supplier headquartered in Hong Kong, with worldwide responsibility for Drivetrain products (PMDC and BLDC motors for electric actuation in gearboxes and all-wheel-drive systems). In 2016 I started another exciting experience at Oerlikon Drive Systems, having the global responsibility for E-Drives. The strategic collaboration with Continental AG gave me the opportunity to actively participate to the transformation of the most important OEMs towards electric mobility, supporting the idea which shaped my career from the beginning: the future is electric! Mid of 2018 my childhood's dream became true and I got the chance to lead as Managing Director the German legal entity of the legendary company Pininfarina. With my experience I supported for more than five years the values which shaped 90 years of company history: purity, elegance and innovation.

Life and career don't stop to evolve and after this amazing experience, I decided to step into a new and different professional adventure: self-employment! This way of working does allow me to concentrate on high value-added activities, supporting in parallel more customers for their business growth and customer relationship in the German speaking countries (DACH).

Every day is a new day. As Abraham Lincoln said, the best way to predict the future is to create it. Braveness - intended as no fear to fail - and curiosity are the key of each innovation and they belong to my spirit. These are the mantra of my life.
